As some of you may know, I’m getting married really soon and as you all know weddings are crazy expensive. So while I’m still working hard on my restaurant plans in Atlanta, I’ve been doing some consulting work at Burger Up in Nashville, TN. Follow them on Twitter (@BurgerUp) to see some of the yummy things we’re creating with the team there.
Also, I’m about to announce details for a really neat farm to smokehouse dinner here in Atlanta. Check back here for details - there will only be a small number of spots available!
Who knew that finding the perfect location would take this long? We promise that we are working very hard on it and we have our eyes firmly planted on a space that we think you all will love. As soon as we can share more, we will. But in the meantime, be sure to follow this feed because we are working on some very exciting things, before we even open! This will be the place we post them first. And we promise, you’ll be the first to know when we sign a lease (except for maybe our parents). Stay hungry, Garden District will be here soon.
To put it simply, Garden District is a neighborhood-gathering place that is distinguished by the local community that surrounds it. Garden District’s mission is inspired from the strength and support that comes with truly being a part of the community and neighborhood. The mission is to provide the neighborhood with an open and welcoming gathering place for good food, good drink and good company that felt like it had always been there.
